Menurut Xperia Blog, Sony akhirnya menetapkan nama resmi untuk perangkat tersebut, dan dinamai Xperia TX. Pertimbangan Sony, nama ini cukup cocok dengan strategi yang dibidik Sony untuk produk-produk Android Xperia buatan tahun 2012.

Pun, menilik spesifikasinya cukup mirip dengan Xperia T, yaitu mengusung chipset dual-core Snapdragon S4, display 720p, kamera 13MP dan OS Android 4.0 ICS. Sangat pantas masuk ke dalam kategori perangkat high end.



Sayang, belum diperoleh informasi lanjutan dari laporan di laman Xperia Blog tersebut, Namun, yang tak kalah serunya, Xperia T dikabarkan akan muncul di film terbaru James Bond, "Skyfall".
